This hat definitely does the job when it comes to blocking the sun out of your face! Used this hat for a hike and it was perfect. Didn’t get any sunburn on my face at all. It also is perfect cause it wraps under my ponytail. The material is very light almost like a windbreaker material and easy to clean off if your get it dirty. The shield is darker.
